Meet Our Founder & CEO

Charran Fisher

President and CEO

Charran Fisher is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and started Fisher Contracting in 1998.

She is SDO and DOT Certified as an M/WBE & DBE both in Massachusetts and Connecticut.  She also holds an Asbestos Supervisors License, Lead Supervisors License and a Construction Supervisors License.

In 2011, she was named the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Person of the Year for the New England region, as well as the Massachusetts Minority Business Person of the Year. She was also chosen as the WBE Partner by Gilbane Building Company for the recently completed Worcester Red Sox project and has received awards for her “Commitment to Diversity” on the Encore Boston Harbor project. Last year, Fisher Contracting Corporation was also selected by the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce as the 2020 Minority Owned Business of the Year.

Charran sits on several boards including The Boys & Girls Club of WorcesterThe Black Economic Council of Massachusetts,  Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts  and most recently, The Worcester Chamber of Commerce. Charran was also recently appointed by the City Manager to serve as Commissioner on the inaugural Worcester Ballpark Commission for a 5 year term.
