Charran Fisher founded Fisher Contracting Corporation in 1998 after recognizing the significant underrepresentation of women and people of color in the construction industry. Nearly three decades later, she leads an established union construction company with experience across commercial, educational, healthcare, federal, and public-sector projects throughout New England.
Her business leadership has earned recognition from the U.S. Small Business Administration, Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, Worcester Business Journal, Worcester State University, and others. She was named to the Worcester Business Journal Power 100 in both 2025 and 2026.
