Meet Our Founder & CEO
Charran Fisher, 46, is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and has operated Fisher Contracting since 1998.
She is SDO Certified M/WBE, DOT Certified DBE Construction Supervisors License, Asbestos Supervisors License, Lead Supervisors License, and W.R. Grace Certified.
In 2011, she was named the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Person of the Year for the New England region, as well as the Massachusetts Minority Business Person of the Year. She has also been honored with WBE Partner, Gilbane Company for Worcester Red Sox and the Wynn Boston Harbor Commitment to Diversity. Last year, Fisher Contracting Corporation was selected by the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce as the 2020 Minority Owned Business of the Year.
Charran is also very involved in her community. She is a member of the Massachusetts Women of Color Coalition, Boys & Girls Club of Worcester, The Black Economic Counsel of Massachusetts, and has recently been appointed to the Board of Directors for Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts.
